Lead and coach plating production team by ensuring they understand how they can maximize their value add contribution to SRG.
What You Will Do In Your Role
oDirect supervision of Plating Loaders, Unloaders, Material Handlers, Rack Changers, 100% Inspectors, Scrap Auditors, Team Leaders & MIS Schedulers
oManage all production personnel RR&Es (Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations) including but not limited to:Safety & technical training, 5S, standardized work, shift to shift communications, work schedules & overtime management, labeling and operational improvements, coaching and leadership presence to support all production initiatives, etc.
oManage all scheduling and EPS requirements (rack changes, kanbans, pull systems, card systems, etc.)
oLead all groups within the production team(s) to develop and improve KPI's, process standardization, team chemistry, shift transfer and communications, and overall production performance
oDrive continuous communication efforts via email, phone, text and face to face (individual and shift communications) with an expectation for the team to follow with a sense of urgency
oCoach, develop and, track training initiatives for team members by auditing their abilities and verifying use of standard work
oParticipate and be engaged with process trouble-shooting & scrap focus efforts (cross-sections, A3's, PDCA, issue timelines, develop standard responses / actions for scrap issues)
oEnsure adequate production / operational coverage (overtime, vacation, sick days, etc.) with fairness, efficiency and financial responsibility
oAssist (as necessary) in warranty root cause analysis
oParticipate in new business quotation opportunities, lending and supporting best practices and lending operational / production guidance
The Experience You Will Bring
oSuccessful experience in the following areas: effective employee relations, progressive discipline and counseling of employees, and managing up to30 employees per shift
oSkilled with Microsoft Word and Excel
oPrevious supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility
oSkilled with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
oAbility to lead, coach and manage a diverse production workforce in a dynamic environment
oAbility to work 3rd shift hours, 10pm-6am
What Will Put You Ahead
oBachelor's degree in management or related field / degree
o5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility
